| |
The Staff functioning under the Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission has been divided into following divisions for expedient office management purposes. |

| (a) Secretary’s Division |
| |
| This division consists of two sections, Secretary’s Division I, which is under the direct supervision of the Secretary, and Secretary’s Division II which functions under theDeputy Secretary.

| Secretary’s Division I |
| |
Secretary Division I is responsible for coordinating affairs between the executive and the legislature, executing the policies of the Judicial Service Commission in appointing, transferring and disciplinary control of Judicial Officers, conducting training of Judicial Officers including Judges of the High Court, organizing seminars and overseas visits, monitoring the performance of Judicial Officers in granting Annual Salary Increments and promotions, organizing meetings of the Commission and matters pertaining to the holding of interviews, etc., to assess suitability of Judicial Officers in making recommendations with regard to the appointment of Judges of the High Courts. |

| Secretary’s Division II |
| |
Secretary’ Division II is responsible for personnel management of nearly 3400 members of the support staff of courts mainly by assisting the Commission in taking decisions with regard to transfers of existing staff, including Annual Transfers where officers completed 04 years or more in a given station are transferred and posting of newly recruited staff recruited by the Recruitment Branch of the Courts Administration Division, making acting appointments and effecting attachments of Interpreters, etc. |

(b) Courts’ Administration Division |
| |
This division functions under the supervision of the Senior Assistant Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission in respect of the Scheduled Public Service and is managed by three Judicial Administrative Officers (Registrars Gr. I). Therefore, this division is responsible for establishment affairs, recruitments, and training of the Scheduled Public Officers, affairs relating to Quazi Courts. Apart from these this division engages in
holding Efficiency Bar Examinations and other examinations in respect of promotions and new recruitments.

| (c) Investigation Division |
| |
This division conducts preliminary investigations relevant to disciplinary matters of the Scheduled Public Officers, carrying on sudden inspections, performing duties incidental to formal disciplinary actions, handling prosecutions in formal disciplinary inquiries held against Scheduled Public Officers, Co-ordinating activities of the preliminary investigations relevant to formal disciplinary inquiries held against Judicial Officers and looking into matters relating to the complaints made by the general public regarding administration of Courts and proceeding to take further action where necessary subject to the instructions of the Secretary. |

| (d) Central Administration Division |
| |
All types of official work relating to the internal staff of the Judicial Service Commission Secretariat and activities which contribute to the continuation and maintenance process of the Secretariat are being executed by this division. |

| (e) Accounts Division |
| |
Accounts division is responsible for maintaining all activities of accounts in connection with all kinds of revenue and expenditure relevant to the functioning of the Judicial Service Commission, its staff and its Office. |
