The revival of the Judges Journal
The Judges Journal, first edited in 1991 by Hon. Justice J.F.A.Soza the then Director Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute, will be revived. The Judicial Service Commission has granted permission to revive the publication of the JUDGES JOURNAL in collaboration with the Judicial Service Commission secretariat and the Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute. The Publication of this magazine would enable the readership to benefit from the knowledge and the experience of the veteran legal luminaries. Furthermore the JUDGES JOURNAL would provide an opportunity for the Judges to contribute to the enrichment of legal literature in our country. I look forward to receiving the legal writings of yours to the JUDGES JOURNAL, before 15.01.2010. The re launching of the JUDGES JOURNAL will be in February .It is intended to dedicate this journal to the former Director, Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute. Hon. Justice J.F.A.Soza, who besides being the first editor of it, has also contributed vastly to enhance the legal profession.
